Lords of the Lies 

Come you government men... admit you deceive 

You read out your speeches you want me to believe

Then you screw up your papers... toss them in a bin

Now that you have all your votes you won't need them again

The things you did promise... Is not what you give

You see the rich thriving, while the poor they can't live

You take what you can to stay in your chair

You'd leave people hungry with their food cupboards bare

Yet you just get fat, from swallowing your lies

The blinkers get bigger... That cover your eyes

You see what you want, you don't see what we need

As we are not part of your profit and greed

What will you do now? Now we know what you do

You who do nothing, unless its outcome suites you

Yet it's us that are living with the things you've not done

Why don't you pack your briefcase with our money and run?

So who do we vote for? These lords of the lies

They practice deceit, they can't look in our eyes

They smile and they talk much but fakeness shall show

And when our stomachs are empty it's then we will know

We were fooled again... we chose the wrong man

The promises made, to do all that he can

None of that matters and I'm sure you'll agree

Much would be done if you'd voted for me
