Two As One
I bumped into an angel
She thanked me for the smile
Then told me no ones noticed her
In quite a long long while
She said she'd lost her halo
And her wings had failed to fly
Her eyes filled with the tears of life
No angel dared to cry
Then as my soul it drifted
She held me in her arms
Then showed our lives connected
In the lines within our palms
Her halo reappeared
And in her wings we took to flight
Once again united
Two as one towards the light
